Benefits of Using Reedcells to Manage Potable Water Sludge
Our potable water sludge treatment reedcells treat dilute sludge, yet they do not require the addition of a thickener, or other high energy demand dewatering devices such as belt-press filters or centrifuges. Where possible, our reedcells employ gravity, syphons or solar energy, which means no power is drawn from the grid.
As our reedcells are zero energy treatment systems, with no need for chemical, flocculant, or polymer additions, our solutions are easier to manage, better for the environment, and much cheaper to operate. Our vegetated reedbed systems promote drainage and evaporation, which more than halves the footprint required compared with drying pans.

Designs range from smaller systems which may suit rural communities or city apartment towers right through to municipal systems which have the capacity to manage the requirements of entire townships or suburbs.
